Your Financial Future
John R. Crawford is a Board Certified Tax Lawyer under The Florida Bar's Certification Program. For over 25 years, he has represented small business owners and professionals in asset protection, business, tax and financial planning matters, as well as numerous individuals in estate and tax planning. His practice includes the formation and reorganization of business entities (including corporations, limited liability companies and family limited partnerships) and the structuring of these entities and trusts to avoid claims of creditors, reduce taxes, avoid probate and plan for family succession. Mr. Crawford's estate and elder law practice also includes substantial elder care matters, including nursing home planning, probate and guardianship. He has spoken on numerous seminars in these areas and is a member of the National Business Institute's Florida advisory council and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is a member of The Florida Bar and the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court. He was educated at The University of Florida (B.A., 1973; J.D., Summa Cum Laude, 1975). Isaac Levy is unique in the field of bankruptcy and financial planning. As Mr. Levy says when he talks with upset clients, "Sir or Madam, you are talking to Noah about the flood." In 1975, as a very young and not yet wise man, Mr. Levy held the dubious honor of purportedly filing the largest personal bankruptcy to date. Absorbing all debts so that no one else associated with him would be in the same position, Mr. Levy, with a healthy dose of pain, humility and embarrassment, began paying back his debts, reevaluated his life, and for many years devoted his professional career to helping those from the poorest to the most prosperous sort out their financial endeavors. When appropriate, he handled their bankruptcies. Isaac estimates that over the years he has successfully handled thousands of bankruptcies. He has offices in St. Augustine and Jacksonville , Florida and homes in Ponte Vedra , Florida and Washington , DC . Isaac Levy believes in the American Dream. He has been there, done that, survived and come back. He believes that without feeling secure about one's monetary situation, it is difficult to feel secure in life.
