Robin Hiersche synchronicity and undeniable flow
I was born in Oregon in the fifties. I simply grew up until I moved to Alaska in 1977 when everything took on a synchronicity and undeniable flow. Finding myself immersed in natural beauty, I lost myself to what most people consider the world and the values they hold.
I have a bachelor of arts degree from The Evergreen State College which has served me well.
After involving myself in a variety of occupations in Alaska, including commercial fishing, working as a cook in a logging camp, working in a gallery, secretary and book keeper at the union hall, hotel work, restaurant work, bartending, seamstress, etc etc I found myself in a small village where I worked as a woodcutter finding logs in the wild to be cut into guitar, mandolin, and violin tops(no live trees cut). After cutting wood, I became a massage therapist and banjo player. At all times I am writing and making pictures. For the last six years I have been wintering in Mexico working with two independent film makers as a still photographer and translator.
I've had way more fun than anyone I know, and I have no complaints.
